Kathmandu:A Yeti Airlines plane was on its way to Pokhra International Airport in Nepal. There were a total of 72 people on board, including flight attendants and passengers. The video of the crash, which has already surfaced, suggests that no passengers on board the plane survived. A total of 40 bodies have been recovered from the accident site till 1pm. No passenger has been rescued alive so far. According to news agencies, five Indians were among the dead.
Yeti Airlines spokesman Sudarshan Bartoula said 10 foreign nationals, including two children, were on board. According to airport data, there were 53 Nepalese, five Indians, four Russians, one Irish, two Koreans, one Argentine citizen and one French national on board.
