New Delhi :The authorities of a five-star hotel in Delhi are now in a dilemma over a man. A man, a resident of the United Arab Republic and a royal family employee of Abu Dhabi, has been absconding after staying at Delhi’s Leela Palace Hotel for more than four months. He has around Rs 23 lakh to pay as a hotel bill.
The Delhi Police has identified the man as Md Sharif and booked him on charges of impersonation. A case was registered against Sharif on Saturday on the basis of a complaint by the hotel management. Police said That Mr Sharif was in the five-star hotel from August 1 to November 20 last year. He then left the hotel without informing anyone.
