Will a separate Kamatapur be formed before January 26?

New Delhi: KLO chief Jeevan Singh finally set foot in the country. Special sources said that Jeevan Singh had travelled to Delhi with a proposal to create a separate Kamatapur state. The source hopes that there is every possibility of announcement of a separate Kamatapur after discussions with the central government in Delhi. According to sources, a separate Kamatapur may be announced before January 26.

It is learnt that several districts of the three states may be included in Kamatapur. Kamatapur is likely to include two districts of Assam. It is learnt that Dhuuri and South Salmara districts may be included in Kamatapur. Similarly, west Bengal may have eight districts proposed. In Kamtapur Those districts are Behar, North Dinajpur, Dakshin Dinajpur, Darjeeling, Jalpaiguri, Alipurduar, Kalimpong and Malda districts respectively. Kamtapur may also have two districts of Bihar. Those two districts are Punia and Kisanganj. However, it will be finalized only after detailed discussions on this issue.
