Environmental activist Sonam Wangchuk continues his ‘hunger strike’ to save Ladakh, posts video seeking PM Modi’s intervention
New Delhi:Renowned environmental activist Sonam Wangchuk, who sat on a five-day hunger strike to save Ladakh from destruction. He on Friday posted another video seeking Pm Modi’s intervention in the matter.
In the video, he urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the authorities concerned to allow him to go to Khardungla. It is to be noted that Khardungla has been closed due to heavy snowfall. In his latest video, Wangchuk said he was not allowed to go to Khardungla due to heavy snowfall and the reluctance of the local authorities.
