Islamabad: Pakistan’s Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) news anchor Iran has arrested Riaz Khan for “hate speech”. News Anchorage has been criticising the government led by Pakistan’s Shvaz Sharif. Iran Riaz Khan was arrested in Lahore for making “statements that could increase violence” with the aim of creating “divisions between the general public and social institutions”.
According to Dawn’s report, the editor of Iran Riaz Khan said that the crime branch of the news anchor FIA has taken custody from Allama Iqbal International Airport.
