Mumbai:Bollywood lyricist and writer Manoj Muntashir supported the renaming of Lucknow. “If the names of our cities written in the scriptures were changed in history. So let’s still be changed. The names of Lucknow and Ghazipur should also be changed completely. He was speaking at the ‘Kashi Shabdotsav’ at the Rudraksh Convention Centre in Varanasi on Friday night.
Muntashir said, “The names that have been changed so far have been corrected. Because the names that have been kept have not been changed. We have returned to the names that were once there. The terrorists and robbers had their flags erected. Those flags must be uprooted now. What is wrong in it. If the name of Lucknow used to be something in our scriptures and history earlier, it should still be the same. There is a conspiracy to divide Hindus into 50 pieces” .
