Riyadh:Saudi Arabia has started its space mission. By the end of this year, Saudi Arabia will send its first female astronaut to space. Following the information, the state media described the move as a move to improve its ultra-conservative image.

Reyana Barnawi will go on a mission to the International Space Center (ISS) with her fellow astronaut Ali al-Kerni, the official Saudi Press Agency said on Sunday. The two astronauts will go into space along with the crew of Mission AX-2, the agency said. This mission will be launched from usa.
