New Delhi:The hopes of Odisha and Bihar were dashed. Both the states had been seeking special category status for a long time but the Centre ruled out all possibilities of granting such status.
In this context, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has said that the Centre will not consider the “special category status” for any state.
