He demanded that Swara should accept Islam.
The marriage is illegal if it does not accept Islam in sharia. Maulana Shahabuddin Rizvi, the head of the All India Muslim Jamaat, said, “Swara has to accept Islam, only then will this marriage be legalized.” If a woman worships idols, then no Muslim man can marry her. There is no place for such a marriage in Islam. ’’
