New Delhi:The opposition is pressurising the government over the Adani issue. Attacking the Narendra Modi-led government at the Centre, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi questioned why the Adani Group was allotted the airport despite not having prior experience.
In a five-minute video titled ‘Mitra-Kal’, released on social media, Rahul Gandhi said his comments on the “truth” about Adani have been removed from parliament’s records. In the video, Rahul Gandhi has alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had handed over six airports to the Adani group under public private partnership in 2018. A year later the Government of India handed over airports in Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Guwahati, Mangaluru. Airports in Thiruvananthapuram and Jaipur were also handed over to the Adani Group.
