Purulia’s white palash is priced at Rs 80 lakh! What happens with flowers?

New Delhi:The red palash on the tree means that spring has arrived. In Purulia, part of Bankura, the whole area became red in Palash. However, there are other colours beyond the red palash we are used to seeing. One of them is the white palash. And with that white palash, there is a lot of hue and cry in Purulia.

Many people say that this white glass is absolutely rare. I can’t see anything special. The white palash tree was found in a village in Purulia’s Huda. At first, no one in the locals knew about it. Even the one who owns the tree on his land was not aware of it. Meanwhile, the lease price of that rare white palash tree has risen to about Tk 80 lakh. Tourists are now going to the village of Purulia to see that white glass. The horticulture department has also started investigating the matter. Efforts are being made to keep the tree alive. Initiatives are also being taken so that saplings can be made from this tree. Because in Purulia, there are usually palash trees naturally. Dr Samarendranath Khara, deputy director of horticulture in Purulia, said, “White palash is rare. There is a tree in the village of Hura. That tree has to be kept alive. The matter has been reported to the Horticulture Department. The forest department and the horticulture department are trying to increase the number of trees by taking seeds or other steps. Soon after the officer went to Hura’s village, a pitch board was put up there and it was written that a fine of Rs 10,000 was imposed on the branches and flowers of the tree.
