Dhaka:Bangladeshi actress Mahia Mahi was released on Saturday night. Mahi was arrested on the basis of a case filed by the police against the heroine under the Digital Security Act. Police arrested the actress from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka around 11:45am on Saturday. According to Dhaka Police sources, the actress was returning home from Saudi Arabia. However, Mahi got bail on Saturday afternoon. The actress was released by the police around 8 pm.
Gazipur District Jail Superintendent Anwarul Karim said, “We got the news of Mahi’s bail and brought him to the jail by evening. Later, he looked at the bail papers and handed it over to the people of the house.
