‘Savarkar’s insult won’t be tolerated’: Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray warns alliance partner Rahul Gandhi
New Delhi:Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray) will not tolerate any derogatory comment on Vinayak Damodar Savarkar. Balasaheb Thackeray’s son Uddhav Thackeray on Sunday warned Rahul Gandhi in this regard. He also urged the former Wayanad MP to focus on the fight to save democracy in the country without being instigated by the BJP.
The Surat court sentenced Rahul gandhi to two years in jail for his objectionable remarks on Modi’s surname. The next day, Rahul was dismissed as an MP. Addressing a press conference on Saturday, Rahul said, “My name is not Savarkar, my name is Gandhi. Gandhi never bowed down to anyone. Rahul’s remarks created a furore.
