11 people including 10 security personnel killed in IED blast triggered by Maoists in Chhattisgarh

New Delhi: After remaining calm for a while, the Maoist-infested state of Chhattisgarh has re-heated up. On Wednesday, Dantewada in Chhattisgarh was shaken by the Naxal attack.

Ten Personnel of the District Reserve Guard (DRG) were killed in a fierce attack by the Naxals today as well as the driver of the vehicle they were travelling in. While returning from the area, the DRG force vehicle was crushed in an IED blast set up by maoists. Police said naxal rebels buried explosive material in the middle of the road.Ten DRG personnel and the driver of the vehicle were killed in the Naxal IED blast.
