Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday did not hear anything about the derogatory remarks made by influential Karnataka BJP MLA and former minister Vasangoda Patil Yatmal about Congress leader Sonia Gandhi. Addressing a public meeting in Koppal, Patil called Sonia a “poison girl” and a “spy for Pakistan and China”. The Congress had then asked Modi’s “stand” on the issue.
The 224-member Karnataka Assembly will go to polls in a phase on May 10. Counting may 13.
