Russian woman dances during campaign! Candidate writes to returning officer seeking permission

New Delhi: Municipal elections in Uttar Pradesh began on Thursday. The queue to cast their votes has been at the booth since morning. Candidates are moving around in their respective areas. Meanwhile, a letter written in the name of a candidate of Ward No. 30 in Kanpur has gone viral on social media. Which has caused a lot of noise. The letter has been written to the returning officer. The letter addressed the returning officer and wrote, “Sir, I want to arrange dance and drinking for a russian woman to entice the independent candidate voters of Ward No. 30 of Ambedkarnagar Kakadeva. Please allow. The letter and a video of a russian woman dancing with it went viral, leaving the administration in a tizzy.

The candidate’s name is Sanjay Dubey. However, he claimed that the letter was not written by him. He also approached the district collector and the Election Commission with the viral letter. He also wrote a letter asking for an investigation. After receiving Sanjay’s complaint, the police launched an investigation. Kanpur goes to polls on May 11. Earlier, the letter in the name of the candidate had created a ruckus in the city. The police were also shocked to see the letter. The police have also questioned candidate Sanjay in this regard. The police are also investigating whether the video that has gone viral is not from Sanjay’s area. If Sanjay didn’t write the letter, who wrote it?
