Child Abuse Case : Psychiatrist Dr Sangeeta Dutta arrested in Meghalaya , remanded to police custody for five days

Guwahati: Dr Sangeeta Dutta, a psychiatrist and doctor of medi city hospital, Guwahati, who is the main accused in the Guwahati child abuse case arrested last night and produced before the court today . It was Dr Sangeeta Dutta who made several explosive remarks at the court premises today. It is worth noting that Dr. Sangeeta Dutta, who fled to Meghalaya due to fear of the arrest, has revealed that it was Sangeeta Dutta who wasted time to remove makeup before she was caught by the police. She took makeup before arrest . So nany people have even commented that he needs psychological advice.

Meanwhile, child rights activist Miguel Das has spoken out against Sangeeta Dutta and Wallilul Islam. He said that in the past too, doctor Walilul Islam had picked up a child and later left after his divorce with his previous wife. Miguel Das also said that Walilul Islam had earlier filed an affidavit in the court that he did not have the power to become a father.The child rights activist urged the police to be strict so that criminals do not escape for any reason.Dr Sangeeta Dutta was produced before the judicial magistrate’s court in Guwahati today. It is in the court premises that Dutta shouts that the conspiracy has been hatched. Meanwhile, the second child from Sangeeta Dutta’s residence was taken to the hospital under the leadership of ADCP Nandini Kakati for first aid. It is learnt that the two children will later be kept under the supervision of the Child Protection Commission. Sangeeta Dutta was also taken from Panbazar Women’s Police Station to her own flat at Ruma Enclave on AM Road in Paltan Bazar and looked at various aspects. It is learnt that the police along with Sangeeta interrogated her at the residence. Security has been tightened inside the residence . Dr Sangeeta Dutta has been sent to 5 days police custody.
