Cyber fraud cases are increasing significantly in the country. Social media Platform WhatsApp is becoming one of the means of fraudsters. A resident of Noida’s Sector 61 was also first contacted on WhatsApp. Greed for a job Fraudsters. It is said that you can earn millions of rupees at home by liking, sharing and subscribing to YouTube videos on ecommerce websites. The woman believes this to be a fraud. He was then added to a Telegram group and asked to like, comment and share a few YouTube videos. Some money was also deposited in the woman’s account to gain her trust. But then they did the real operation.
Several new YouTube videos were sent to the woman. After liking them, 4 lakh 38 thousand rupees were lost from the woman’s account. Realising that she had been duped, the woman lodged a complaint with Noida’s Sector 58 police station. Police are investigating the incident.
