PM Modi visits Australia, indians arrive to meet him on ‘Modi Airways’

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a two-day visit to Australia. So the expatriate Indians of that country reached Sydney by renting a full plane to meet the Prime Minister. As many as 170 people enjoyed the flight wearing turbans and dancing and singing in the colours of the national flag. They have even named this aircraft ‘Modi Airways’. Modi will meet overseas Indians separately on Tuesday.

The Prime Minister arrived in Australia on Tuesday. He is scheduled to meet with Australian leader Anthony Albanese on Wednesday. Australian Indians are in a festive mood around Modi’s visit. A section of Indians were present to welcome Modi at the airport. Among them was a 91-year-old woman.
