Woman Yotuber’s sexual harassment claim against cricketer Prithvi Shaw was fake: Mumbai Police tells court on CCTV footage record

Mumbai: The sexual harassment claims made by women YouTubers against cricketer Prithvi Shaw were false. A few months ago, a woman eTuber had accused the player of sexually assaulting her. But at the end of a thorough investigation, the Mumbai Police have revealed to the court that the woman YouTuber’s claims were fake.

A police officer told mumbai’s Andheri magistrate court that the allegations levelled by social media influencer Swapna Gill against Indian cricketer Prithvi Shaw were false and baseless. Gill alleged that Shaw sexually assaulted her at a pub on February 15 this year. Sapna Gill had approached the Andheri magistrate court against the Mumbai Police after no FIR was registered on the basis of a complaint against Shaw.
