India alliance delegation leaves for troubled Manipur, likely to meet Governor

New Delhi: As per the earlier schedule, the INDIAN alliance delegation left for troubled Manipur on Saturday morning. As many as 20 delegates from 16 parties left the Delhi airport for Manipur today. After reaching Imphal, they are scheduled to go to Churachandpur in a chopper. They are also likely to meet Manipur Governor Anasuya Wike on Sunday.

The delegation is led by Congress Parliamentary Leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury. Former Rajya Sabha MP Sushmita Dev, RDJ’s Manoj Kumar, AAP’s Sushil Gupta, Congress’ Gaurav Gogoi and DMK’s Kanimozhi are among the 20 alliance partners.
