President to intervene in Manipur, india alliance submits memorandum to Murmu

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will no longer be seen in the monsoon session of Parliament. Representatives of the opposition India alliance met President Draupadi Murmu and submitted a memorandum to him. Senior Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury handed over the memorandum to him. Sharad Pawar, Sudip Bandopadhyay, Derek O’Brien, Sanjay Raut and others also met the President.


The memorandum urged the President to intervene in the affairs of Manipur so that normalcy can be restored at the earliest by removing the unusual situation arising there. Rajya Sabha MP Sushmita Dev today urged the President to say that two brave men from two different communities in Manipur are brave.
