New Delhi: The central government and firecracker manufacturers had requested for approval to manufacture the formula of green crackers in court.
Supreme Court dismisses plea against bursting of firecrackers on Diwali
The Supreme Court on Friday refused to allow the manufacture of barium-containing green crackers in the country. In fact, the central government and firecracker manufacturers had informed the court about the process of making and selling these firecrackers, claiming less pollution. The Supreme Court has currently rejected the petition.
