Several important decisions taken in the state cabinet

Guwahati: An important meeting of the state cabinet was held at Janata Bhawan in Dispur on Saturday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. Several decisions were taken in the meeting on several issues including arunodaya scheme. Some of the decisions taken in the cabinet meeting are that 6 lakh new beneficiaries will get arunodaya .


Allotment letters will be given to the beneficiaries in various districts on October 11 and 12. Ministers will go to every district. 3 lakh 69 thousand bicycles will be given to class IX girl students on October 13. Certificates of loans will be given on October 16 in the districts to the beneficiaries, who have made microfinance loan-free. Such letters will be given to 2 lakh 22 thousand people. A total of 2 lakh 22 thousand women who have taken loans below Rs 25,000 will be given this certificate.
Important decisions were taken in the Cabinet on the Arunodaya scheme also. 6 lakh new beneficiaries will be included in the Arunodaya Scheme. A Cabinet Committee has been formed on the demarcation of bajali district. The committee has been formed with three cabinet ministers.The cabinet decision was taken in honour of the soldiers of the armed forces who laid down their lives for the protection of the country. The families and heirs of the martyred jawans of the land, navy and air forces will be appointed in government jobs as per their qualifications.
Cabinet approves Chief Minister’s Lok Sevak Arogya Yojana. Through this scheme government employees will be able to get all the benefits to be availed in the field of medical treatment on time. Arrangements will be made to provide medical assistance by deducting a minimum portion from the salary of the employees. In order to tide over the shortage in the energy sector, it was decided to purchase 100 MW electricity from solar hybrid power.The Tiwa Autonomous Council area is out of the area of the State Capital Region Development Authority. Electricity will be provided through the RDSS scheme covering 67 lakh households in the state who do not yet have electricity connections.
