New Delhi: The delhi air pollution situation has not improved even on the first day of the week. On Monday morning too, Delhiites were alarmed by the pollution levels. The air quality index (AQI) means the amount of polluted particles in the air is 488. That’s 80 times more than the safe level! That’s the statistics. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will hold a high-level emergency meeting on Monday afternoon. Environment Minister Gopal Rai and officials of all concerned departments will be present in the meeting. We need discussion to find a solution.

The capital has been shrouded in smog since Monday morning. The situation is the worst in areas like RK Puram, Patparganj, New Motibagh. In all four places, the air quality index is above 400.
