New Delhi: Pratima KS, deputy director of the Mining and Geology Department of Karnataka, was murdered at her home. The killing of a senior government official triggered panic in the state.
Police arrested a suspect in the incident on Monday. The youth used to drive a government department vehicle. Ten days ago, the driver was suspended on the orders of Deputy Director Pratima. According to a source, the accused confessed that he killed Pratima to avenge her dismissal.
