New Delhi: The Delhi government is not listening to the Supreme Court. The administration of the capital is once again facing the wrath of the Supreme Court for its failure to prevent pollution. On Tuesday, the Supreme Court said farmers were being deliberately brought to book. The Supreme Court has advised the Delhi and Punjab governments to look at Haryana and learn how to help farmers. Delhi has been facing pollution problems since early November. Several cases have been filed in the Supreme Court.
On Tuesday, the apex court began hearing the pollution-related cases. The governments of Delhi and Punjab came under fire from a two-judge bench. “November 2023 is the most polluted in the last six years. Everyone knows why this is a problem. The government should solve this problem. It is to be noted that due to the burning of the roots of the crop, the whole of North India was covered in a blanket of pollution at the beginning of the winter.
