New Delhi: Trinamool Congress leader Mahua Moitra, who was suspended as an MP for allegedly asking questions in Parliament in exchange for money, on Monday moved the Supreme Court seeking justice. Mahua today moved the Supreme Court against his expulsion from the Lok Sabha.

Mahua’s MP’s post was terminated last week after the Lok Sabha Ethics Committee found Mahua guilty of endangering national security. Following the decision, Mahua Moitra has been saying that the Ethics Committee does not have the power to expel him. She also said that there was no evidence that he had accepted cash from the businessman.
