According to the Centre’s data, since October 2021, Rs 1,163 crore has been earned from the sale of old papers, documents, files, old appliances, furniture, etc. In October last year, the Modi government had launched a cleanliness drive in various government departments. In one month, the government has earned about Rs 550 crore. According to sources, 96 lakh files have been sold in the last two years. It also vacated 355 lakh square feet of space. This place has also been used for other purposes.
