Guwahati: In bhergaon in Udalguri district on Saturday night, police seized a foreign-made pistol with active bullets from a person’s house in an operation conducted on the basis of intelligence inputs.
The incident has created a sensation in the area. According to the information received, under the supervision of Bhergaon sub-divisional police officer Durga Kinkar Sharma and Tongla police officer in-charge Biswajit Medhi, a foreign-made pistol with six rounds of active bullets was recovered during a search at the house of one Pabitra Boro of Bhergaon.
