Mumbai: Actress Nayanthara of the film ‘Annapurni’ has apologized by writing ‘Jai Shri Ram’. His film was accused of hurting religious sentiments. The film was embroiled in controversies due to the description of Lord Ram as a non-vegetarian as well as a scene like a Brahmin girl praying before making biryani in a cooking show.
Nayantara, who was seen opposite Shah Rukh Khan in the film ‘Jawan’, has written on her Insta account that her intention was not to hurt anyone.
After the controversy, the film was removed from the OTT platform Netflix. An FIR has been filed on this film. The film also faced a lot of opposition on social media. Nayanthara wrote Jai Shri Ram at the top before writing an apology on her Instagram account.
“I write this note with a heavy heart and sincere desire about the situation that has arisen with our film ‘Annapurni’. I would like to tell all the countrymen that my team and I had no intention to hurt anyone’s sentiments. ”
