Guwahati: It will rain in Assam for the next three days. The Regional Meteorological Centre at Barjhar has said that light to moderate rains are likely to occur in some parts of Assam, including the Northeast, for the next five days. Heavy rains were reported at isolated places in Assam as well as in the northeastern states on Friday. There have also been reports of hailstorm in some places.
According to senior meteorologists at the Regional Meteorological Centre at Barjhar, there will be rains in some parts of Assam along with the northeastern states on February 3.
On February 3, rains are expected at isolated places over Assam, Arunachal, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura. Similarly, on February 4 and 5, rain is likely to occur at isolated places over Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh within the northeastern states. Similarly, in these days, fog will also increase in Assam and other northeastern states.
