New Delhi: Serial blast at illegal firecracker factory in Madhya Pradesh. At least 6 dead. Another 30 people were injured. However, the death toll is expected to rise. The shock of Tuesday morning’s incident is still ongoing. At least 60 houses were burned. At least 100 houses around the factory have been evacuated in wartime activities.
Illegal firecrackers have come up in Boiragarh area of Harda district of BJP-ruled Madhya Pradesh. The explosion took place at the factory in the morning. According to local sources, at least 100 workers were working in the factory. The charred bodies of at least six of them were recovered. Another 30 people were rescued in critical condition. It wasn’t just the factory workers who were affected by the blast. At least 50-60 people from nearby settlements were injured in the blast. Hundreds of bikes and scooters around the factory were also burnt to ashes.
