Guwahati: A youth was detained from a hotel in the city. The bullet-ridden youth was reportedly hiding in Guwahati for treatment. The youth has been identified as Lunmi Sei (35) of Churachandpur in Manipur. Explosive information about the youth being shot in Manipur has come to light. The youth was detained by dispur police at night and admitted to Gauhati Medical College Hospital.
It is learnt that the youth was shot at churachandpur in Manipur around 10 pm on February 16. But it is not yet known under what circumstances the youth was shot in the leg. The youth received first aid at the district hospital in Churachandpur . sei later came to GNRC Hospital in Guwahati for better treatment.
