Just 45 minutes before leaving the country, the army did not even give Hasina a ‘last message’!

New Delhi: Sheikh Hasina resigned from the post of Prime Minister under the pressure of the army! Mujibkanya was forced to leave Bangladesh with just 45 minutes notice. The army did not even give her permission to deliver her ‘last message’ to the nation. Such is the news of sources.

According to multiple sources in the force, the three force chiefs and the Inspector General of Police (IGP) were called to the prime minister’s residence, Gana Bhaban, around 10:30 am. Hasina expressed her anger as to why the situation is not being handled. At one point, Hasina pointed to the IGP and said that the police are doing a good job. Then the IGP said that it is not possible for the police to maintain such a strict position for a long time.
Tried to convince Hasina that this situation cannot be handled by force. But she didn’t want to accept it. Then the army and police officials discussed with Sheikh Rehana in another room. She asked him to explain the situation to Sheikh Hasina. Even though Rehana explained, the Prime Minister remained adamant. Finally, a top official also spoke to Hasina’s son Sajib Wazed Joy from abroad. Then Joy talks to her mother. Hasina finally agreed to resign.
