Guwahati:Manas National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, has generated an impressive Rs 33 lakh in revenue over the past two months, marking a significant boost for its conservation and tourism initiatives. During this period, the park welcomed over 10,000 visitors, including 500 international and 9,500 domestic tourists.The rise in visitor numbers highlights the growing appeal of Manas National Park, which offers a variety of attractions, such as jeep and elephant safaris, as well as river rafting. These activities allow tourists to immerse themselves in the park’s stunning landscapes and observe wildlife in its natural environment.Tourists have explored several ranges of the park, including Bansbari (Kahitam), Bhuyanpara, Panbari, and Kuklung, further supporting the region’s eco-tourism growth. Barin Boro, the Ranger of the Bansbari Range, urged more visitors to make Manas National Park their travel destination to experience its unique offerings.The steady influx of tourists is expected to strengthen the park’s revenue, benefiting both local communities and wildlife conservation efforts.
