Vashishtha Vidyapeeth Middle English School in Guwahati hosted a vibrant Community Festival where students and teachers united to celebrate education, culture, and local traditions. Guwahati, December 16, 2024: A festive atmosphere filled the grounds of Vashishtha Vidyapeeth Middle English School in Guwahati as students from nine schools and their teachers came together for the much-awaited Community Festival. Organized with the support of the teachers and staff from the Rajdhani-4 Content Center under the Guwahati Education Block, the event served as a platform for fostering unity and cultural exchange between local schools.

The festival highlighted the significance of indigenous folk culture, bringing together the student and teacher communities for a day of shared learning and celebration. In attendance was Dipika Chaudhary, the School Inspector of Kamrup (M), who commended the event for its role in enhancing relationships between educators and students.

Notable speaker, Naba Jyoti Kalita, Executive Editor of DB News, also graced the occasion, praising the initiative. Kalita emphasized the importance of such events in promoting cultural and educational development, applauding the efforts of the education department in organizing the festival.

The day kicked off with a vibrant procession, followed by a mesmerizing performance of the traditional “Tandrali Murchana” by the teachers, which captivated the audience and set the tone for the celebrations.

Inspector Dipika Chaudhary remarked that the event had successfully strengthened the bond between the student community and their teachers, creating a more collaborative and supportive educational environment. The Community Festival continues to serve as a testament to the power of collective celebration and cultural exchange in educational settings.
