Guwahati: The Assam government has launched an open invitation for artisans, entrepreneurs, startups, and creators to submit innovative gift ideas for the upcoming Advantage Assam 2.0: Infrastructure and Investment Summit 2025. The summit, set to be held in Guwahati on February 25-26, 2025, will be inaugurated by the Prime Minister of India and will host global investors and leaders.This initiative aims to showcase Assam’s rich cultural heritage, craftsmanship, and traditions by presenting specially curated, locally inspired gifts to the distinguished guests attending the summit.What is Needed?Participants are encouraged to submit gift ideas that meet the following criteria:Compact & Convenient: Easy to transport and beautifully packaged.Globally Competitive: High-quality products with unique appeal.Locally Inspired: Items reflecting Assam’s cultural vibrancy.Practical & Memorable: Functional gifts that leave a lasting impression.Liquid Items: If proposed, liquids must be under 50 ml and securely packed.Submission and Selection ProcessSubmissions will go through a two-phase evaluation:Initial Screening: A panel of experts will assess ideas based on creativity, practicality, and relevance to the summit.Presentations: Shortlisted participants will present their ideas, from which the final gift items will be chosen.elected items will be procured at market rates, offering participants significant recognition for their craft.Important Dates: Submission Deadline: December 30, 2024Evaluation and Shortlisting: After the submission deadlineInterested participants can submit their ideas by scanning the provided QR code.
