A mother-son duo has been arrested for allegedly being involved in drug smuggling in Assam’s Nagaon district.
The cops also seized 30 containers containing 3.40 grammes of drugs from their possession.
The duo has been identified as Junmoni Begum (Mother) and Jahidur Rahman (Son), residents of Mikirbheta in Morigaon district.

As per reports, acting on a tip-off, Jajori Police launched an operation in Jajori area of Nagaon.
The two were on their way to Mikirbheta when they were stopped by police.
Officer-in-Charge Tushar Jyoti Bora led the police operation.
Meanwhile, police have launched an inquiry, and the two are being interrogated.
