Imphal: Mannasha Devi Sapam from Imphal was crowned Miss Manipur 2022.
The beauty queen was awarded the title at the grand finale for Miss Manipur 2022 which was held at Trade and Expo Centre in Imphal on September 11.
While Mannasha Devi Sapam won the title of Miss Manipur 2022, Kongsangthei P Hurray from Ukhrul’s Kachai village and Philayung Jajo of Apong village, Kamjong district, were named the first and second runners-up, respectively.
A total of 23 contestants competed for the prestigious beauty pageant title.

The contestants dressed in traditional attire and evening gowns walked the ramp for manifesting elegance.
The Miss Manipur 2022 title winner, as well as the 1st runner up, and 2nd runner up we’re handed a cash reward of one lakh Rupees, 80 thousand Rupees, and 60 thousand Rupees respectively.
It may be mentioned that Mannasha Devi Sapam will now represent Manipur in the Miss North East Beauty Pageant 2022 which will be held in Nagaland.
According to reports, the beauty pageant event will be hosted by the Beauty & Aesthetic Society of Nagaland (BASN) under the banner of the Northeast Beauty Pageant Organization (NBPO) by September 2022.
