Raju Srivastava cremated in Delhi

Raju Srivastava, the king of comedy, was cremated in Delhi today in the presence of his family and loved ones.

Earlier, his mortal remains were taken to his residence in Delhi’s Dwarka, after they were handed over to the family on Wednesday.

Hundreds of fans paid tribute to the comedian. Around 11 am, Raju’s son Ayushmaan performed the final rites as per Hindu tradition.

Raju Srivastava died in New Delhi yesterday at the age of 58.

He suffered a heart attack while working out at the gym on August 10, following which he was admitted to AIIMS, Delhi.

Srivastava suffered severe brain damage following his cardiac arrest and was unconscious and under observation at AIIMS.

Raju Srivastava was a well-known comedian who has appeared on numerous comedy shows on television, including The Great Indian Laughter Challenge, Comedy Circus, The Kapil Sharma Show, Shaktimaan, and others.

The comedian has also appeared in Bollywood films such as Maine Pyaar Kiya, Tezaab, Baazigar, and others.

He appeared as a special guest on India’s Laughter Champion recently.
