Assam: Amidst Puja 2022, Two Bodies Found In Separate Incidents

Guwahati: Amid the Durga Puja celebration, two bodies were recovered from separate incidents in Assam.

On Tuesday, an unidentified body of a person was recovered from Guwahati’s Ulubari area

According to sources, the body was recovered from an e-rickshaw near the Bholanath Mandir Path in the area.

Meanwhile, the body has been sent for post-mortem.

In another incident, on Monday a body was recovered at a puja pandal at Babupara in Krishnai area in Goalpara district.

The deceased has been identified as Pradip Rabha.

As per the source, it is suspected that the deceased died due to electrocution as a man’s body was found with a fan over it.

Later, local police reached the scene and recovered the body for post-mortem.
