Tripura: Minor kills 3 family members in fit of rage
A young boy in Tripura who allegedly killed three members of his family, including a neighbour, has been arrested by the police.
In a fit of anger, the accused allegedly attacked the victims at Kamalpur in Tripura’s Dhalai district.
As per reports, the bodies were dumped close to the accused’s home in a pit.
The suspect who tried to flee was caught this morning at the Halhali market.
A case has been lodged against the accused under Sections 302 and 201 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
Further investigation into the matter is underway.
“In a gruesome incident a minor boy has killed 4 of his family members. The accused had been arrested within few hours of incident. Further investigation is going on to ascertain the motive of the crime,” Tripura Police tweeted.
