The clash took place between Indian and Chinese troops along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh on Friday night. It is alleged that around 300 Chinese soldiers tried to cross the Line of Actual Control (LAC) into India with sticks late on Friday night. News agency It said the country’s troops tried to climb to the top of a 17,000-foot-high peak. Soldiers of the People’s Liberation Army also tried to uproot an Indian army post.
But when the Indian troops stopped them, there was a clash between the two sides. According to media reports quoting army sources, six Indian Army soldiers were injured in the clash and clash with sticks and stones. They are undergoing treatment in Guwahati. Many Chinese soldiers were also injured in the incident. News agency PTI reported that the number of injured soldiers on the Chinese side may increase.
