Elaborate preparations are made to celebrate the 80th Annual Shri Krishna Daul Mahotsav at Barshil in Bargaon

Guwahati:Like previous years, this year too preparation is going on to celebrate the Daul Festival of Sri Sri Krishna on March 6, 7 and 8 with a three-day colorful program at Borgaon Barshil Ashram. As part of the first day’s schedule flag hoisting by the Vishnu Hom Parichalana Samiti and Gyan Vikas Library and Sangha at 6 am, flag hoisting of Sri Sri Barshil Ashram at 8-00 pm, opening of the main gate at 8-30 pm, unveiling of the north direction at 9-00 pm.

Lighting of the lamp at 6-00 pm, burning of arias at 6-30 pm, arya baran and lighting at 7-00 pm. KamalPur constituency MLA Diganta Kalita will be present at Arya Baran and Lighting.The stage will inaugurated at 10-00 pm by the Vishnu Jyoti Natya Parishad. The second day’s schedule i.e. environmental clearance by Five Star Club and East Bargaon Naba Milan Sangha on March 7, 6-30 puja begins, at 9-30 am Hare Krishna Naam Kirtan, Ayati’s nam at 10-30 pm Dharma Dhabja hoisting at 11-30 pm. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president Bhavesh Kalita along with Dr Chidananda Sharma, IIT Guwahati will be present on the occasion. Holi songs will be performed by local artistes at 12-00 pm. Guest reception and felicitation at 12-30 pm, home wreaths at 1-00 o’clock, one minute’s silent prayer for the well-being of the souls of the departed social workers at 1-30 pm .Distribution of prasad and mahabhog at 2-00 pm, Nagara Naam will be inaugurated at 6-30 pm. On March 8 at 8.30 pm the fakuwa will begin, at 11-00 a.m. door to door Gosai Yatra, at 4-00 pm gonsai installation at the temple and daul festival called Harekrishna. The celebration committee has respectfully sought the help and cooperation of the public these three days programmes as well as seeks suggestions and presence.
