Pradyut Kishore Debbarma adamant on Tripura’s indegenious people’s rights

Agartala: Pradyut Kishore Debbarma, the royal scion of Tripura and head of The Tripura Matha, is still firm on his stand. He reiterated today that for no reason will he compromise with anyone over the rights of The indegenious people of Tripura.

After holding a meeting with Home Minister Amit Shah today, he said that Shah has understood the ‘real problem of the son of the soil’ of Tripura. Shah on Wednesday agreed to a “constitutional solution” to meet the demands of the Khilonjiya people of Tripura. Shah accepted the issue of ownership of Tripura’s indegenious people soon after a post-poll meeting with the representatives of Tipra Matha led by Pradyut Kishore Debbarma. In this context, Debbarma said on Twitter, “The Home Minister has promised to start the process of constitutional solution for the indegenious people of Tripura. An intermediary will be appointed for this process and it will be completed within a time-bound manner. “
