New Delhi:
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has dismissed as a member of parliament. It is usually the norm of the President to cut off the post of MP while today the Secretariat of the Lok Sabha cuts the membership of Rahul Gandhi. Meanwhile, the opposition took out a protest rally at Vijay Chowk in New Delhi when Rahul Gandhi was dismissed as an MP.

But the Delhi Police stopped the protest march citing that Section 144 was imposed. MPs from opposition parties took out the march against the ruling government demanding a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) probe into the Adani-Hindenburg issue in Parliament. Several opposition leaders from parties like CPI, CPI(M), Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray), JD(U), and Aam Aadmi Party marched to Vijay Chowk with placards like ‘We demand JPC’ and ‘Save LIC’.
