New Delhi: The Supreme Court has directed the convicts and undertrial prisoners, who have been released conditionally due to covid-19, to return to jail. The order was issued by the country’s top court on Friday.
Many convicted and undertrial prisoners were released from the country’s jails to protect them from the spread of the virus in the Covid situation. The supreme court’s order was aimed at decongesting the jails due to the highly contagious character of Covid- 19.
