The woman was sitting among the passengers. At the beginning of the flight, he entered the cockpit. The woman was in the cockpit for the entire three-hour journey.
This is completely against the model code of conduct of the aircraft,” a senior DGCA official said. The official, who did not wish to be named, said the accused pilot had violated safety norms. Not only that, such behavior could have disrupted the focus of aviation. The pilot has disrupted the safety of both the aircraft and the passengers.
The DGCA has already ordered a detailed probe against the pilot. It is learnt that after the investigation, the pilot will be ordered to punish him as per the gravity of the offence. He could be suspended. His license could also be taken away. However, Air India did not want to comment on the incident.
