Cairo: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is going straight to Egypt from the US, was on Sunday conferred with egypt’s highest state honour, the Order of the Nile award.
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi conferred the honour on the Prime Minister ahead of his bilateral meeting with Modi. The two leaders signed several important MoUs in the meeting held thereafter.
